Career Ops Privacy Policy

Overview
Career Ops is a private career automation application used to manage job applications and related recruitment workflows.
Google user data
Career Ops accesses Gmail only after the user explicitly authorizes the application through Google OAuth.
The application requests read-only Gmail access. It may process email metadata and message content to identify and handle career-related communications, including:
- job application confirmations;
- verification and security codes;
- recruiter communications;
- interview invitations;
- scheduling requests;
- assessment invitations;
- application rejections;
- other recruitment-related communications.
Use of Gmail data
Gmail data is used only to provide Career Ops career-management and application-workflow functionality.
Career Ops does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising.
Email content is treated as untrusted input and cannot change the application's security or automation policies.
Message modification
Career Ops uses read-only Gmail access and does not send, delete, archive, label, or otherwise modify Gmail messages.
Verification codes
Ephemeral verification codes may be extracted from strongly correlated recruitment emails for the corresponding active application workflow. Such codes are intended to be processed in memory and are not intentionally stored in persistent logs, application evidence, or tracking records.
Storage and security
OAuth credentials and tokens are stored privately and are not included in public source code. Access is limited to the authorized application environment.
Sharing
Career Ops does not sell Google user data. Data is not shared with third parties except where necessary to carry out an explicitly authorized recruitment workflow initiated by the user.
Revoking access
The user may revoke Career Ops access at any time through their Google Account's third-party connections settings.
